The observer, Namakkal Parliamentary constituency, Namakkal.

Respected Madam,

Good afternoon, we kindly bring the following issues to your kind attention.

1. A lot of female teachers have been appointed as polling officers in Kumarapalayam Assembly constituency from Namakkal, Rasipuram, Senthamangalam and Paramathi Velur Assembly Constituencies.

It is situated about 70 kilometers from Namakkal which takes about 2:30 hours to reach Kumarapalayam.

2. At the same time lot of male teachers have been appointed as polling officers in Senthamangalam Assembly constituency from Kumarapalayam. The travelling time is about 3:00 hours to reach Senthamangalam. Polling Booths in Kolli Hills in Senthamangalam Constituency takes 2 to 3 hours travelling time from Senthamangalam.

So, Polling officers who may be appointed in Kolli Hills from Kumarapalayam have to travel about 6 hours to reach their polling Booths.

We request you to take necessary actions to reappoint the polling officers in their own Assembly constituency or nearby constituencies to do polling duties peacefully.

3. Please make travelling arrangements for the polling officers before and after poll to reach their respective polling booth and to return from their polling booths.
